YIKES, math! The underserved and hard to understand area of math is addressed from a very creative perspective on this CD and IntelliTools Classroom Suite. How do we teach the basic concepts of math so children will actually learn what the concept of math is and use those skills for a lifetime? Dan and Pati tackled this uncharted territory providing you with templates to create your own tools. Simply providing children with rote activities to learn skills is not enough especially when facing the challenge of disabilities. This CD will look at creative ways to allow children to engage in doing mathematics using IntelliTools Classroom Suite. The content standards for early math (K-2) have been addressed from a universal design perspective. This CD will highlight how to make math fun by building engaging activities and addresses the needs of children who cannot manipulate materials and those children who need manipulatives to understand.
