Evidence Based Clinical Practices- Case study of 5 children with severe and multiple disabilities within 9 months of implementation transitioning to high tech communication systems! The students in the case study were ages 9-13 and had been unsuccessfully previously at qualifying for High Tech AAC Communication Systems. Students expressed unique thoughts, carried on 3-4 part conversations, used 3-4 word utterances and initiated conversations with staff and peers.
